Once a year, during hay and straw baling season, Tama employees head out to the field to see our products in action.
For us, this is about much more than machinery or product demonstrations. We come from agriculture. Farming is where our story began, and staying connected to the field remains a meaningful part of who we are today.
This year’s field session brought employees together for connection, learning, and team bonding. We moved between four stations, each dedicated to one of our core product categories, gaining a closer look at the work behind the products, from development and operations to commercial insights.
For round baling, we learned about Tama’s premium Netwrap solutions and the new baling solution, EZ Web®. At the large-square baling demonstration, we saw TamaTwine+ with IMPAX® Technology. During the cotton wrap showcase, we got to see the magnificent John Deere picker up close and learned about the latest developments of TamaWrap®, the original Cotton Wrap. Finally, in the pallet wrap display, we saw InnoVent® in action on the wrapping machine.
The value of this session goes beyond product knowledge. It gives every department, including teams not directly involved in day-to-day field work, the chance to better understand our solutions, our customers, and the realities of the season across the Northern Hemisphere.
Spending time in the field reminds us why our work matters. It keeps us close to the people we serve and helps us continue building practical solutions with agriculture in mind, every step of the way.
It was an enjoyable, engaging, and enriching experience, and an important reminder that the field remains at the heart of Tama.
